One of my biggest complaints about the Vernier tracks, was the plastic track ends that came with our tracks. One thing I wanted was a slot in the middle for running a string through, but I also wanted the ability to add the cart tabs, and allow for the cart to have an elastic collision with the track end, or not have an elastic collision! This model is a remix of my other track end design, with the key difference being that I rotated the slots 90 degrees, allowing you to load the cart tabs in from the sides. This way, you do not need to remove the track end in order to swap out magnets! I also gave it a better design on the back and made it much more aesthetically pleasing!
For printing: I recommend printing with painted supports in the slots. This will help print with the proper slots.
First: Rotate the design so the face is laying down on the bed.
Second: Click on the Paint-on supports tab and select "Smart Fill" over "Brush"
Third: Click on the two specific places that will overhang, shown in the picture below.
This way when you add on the supports they will give you a great result! I remove mine with a set of pliers and then scrape away any excess with a flathead screwdriver, or an exacto knife.
