Universal Xbox 360 Kinect TV Stand

Recently, we started playing more games with Kinect. However, we have a big dog, and when she wants to play too, she obstructs the view for the Kinect that is placed on the TV console. So I decided to lift the Kinect up on the TV.

The TV I'm mounting on is an LG OLED B3 series. It has pretty flat panel and back of the panel metal. So I decided to add magnets for backside of the mount.

I'm adding two versions:

• Top part as one print (kinect_base)

• Top part as two prints (kinect_base_no_lip  and tv_lip)

I've printed the top as two prints and just pushed the TV lip print into a slot in the base print and added a bit of glue, but it should work without glue as well. After that, you can add a strip of felt on the TV lip so it won't scratch the TV.

Next, glue in 4x magnets to the bottom part.

Last, put screws in the top/base part, slide in the bottom part, and screw the nuts to semi-tight.

Place the stand on the TV, and tighten the mount if needed. At last, you can add Kinect on top.

Additional parts:

• 4x 8x1mm magnets

• 2x M3 10mm+ bolts

• 2x M3 nuts

• A piece of felt pad (or anything to glue on the lip that presses against the TV.

Printing settings:

• 0.2 mm layer height;

• 4 layers bottom;

• 4 layers top;

• 3 wall layers;

• 30% infill;

• No supports (when TV lip printed separately).
