Simple mount for Chitu H2 heater in the CC1.
The mount allows for airflow from both intakes, and keeps the device positioned so cables and unit stay out of the way of the print bed.
Combine with side panel spacers from: @Syn3D_3309286 with a modification for the control cable, and modified Spool holder cap by: @B00Mguy_3277228
- Original Parts Modified -
7.5 mm Panel Spacer:
Replace the bottom rear spacer with the modified spacer and install per SE3D's instructions
*Flush* Spool Holder:
Liked the look of this cap when I moved my filament to a SpacePi 2 - modified to allow Power cable egress for the Chitu H2
Use the magnet that ships with the heater to keep the tray from moving.
Heater lays on its side so cables neatly route out of the chamber
Heater is able to draw air using both intakes and output is toward the glass instead of directly onto any internal components
This first revision was printed in PLA and It held up under testing with ASA and ABS.
First prints should be monitored closely with the heater to tune the settings (Chamber Temps over 55C are not recomended by Elegoo)
Was able to keep consistant chamber temps around 50C for several 6 hours prints with and without insulating the chamber.
My first design using Fusion360 so stay tuned for revisions
Printed in TPU no special settings
