I got tired of switching spools out on bigger prints and made a basic spool holder for the 5kg polymaker spool. I made the original out of petg but I'm making the next one out of abs. It is working well and I have included the STEP file for you to modify as you please.
Printed the nut and bolt with no support, nut I printed at 100.5% scale for clearance and used some bearing lube on the threads. The base I printed with tree supports but might try snug normal supports next time.
