Self-watering trio planter

Small indoor plants dry out fast; this set keeps three of them on one shared water supply so you water once and all three stay happy.

What you get

• Pot (IndoorPlantSelfWateringPot.stl) — Self-watering insert-style pot for compact plants. Five short stabilizing cylinders around the rim keep it steady in the tray. Five small holes near the bottom let the growing medium wick water from the shared reservoir without drowning the roots. Pot outer diameter: 79 mm (size for tray fit).

• Tray (IndoorPlantSelfWateringThreeContainer.stl) — Holds three pots in one linked reservoir. A side spigot is your single fill point; the same feature makes it easy to peek at the water level so you know when to top up. Water moves through the tray to each pot and enters through the bottom holes.

Why it’s useful
Ideal for herbs, succulents, small foliage plants, or a windowsill / desk trio. One watering session maintains all three; fewer forgotten corners and less guesswork than separate saucers.

Printing & use
Use food-safe filament only if you plan to grow edibles; otherwise standard PLA/PETG is fine for decorative houseplants. Print the pot with enough bottom layers for watertightness (or light sealing if your printer needs it). After planting, fill slowly through the spigot until you see a comfortable level—let the soil wick; don’t flood the top of the soil.
