Since there was no slingshot, that was reliable, I wanted to design my own. Now I'm on version 3 with a nice result.

Version 3 now has a wider bar [22mm] to better accommodate flat band rubbers.
EN: This is NOT a toy in the true sense of the word. Improper use may result in serious injury. Accelerated steel balls easily penetrate windows of any thickness, bottles, thin wooden doors and light sheet metal.Therefore, use by children is not recommended.
I will develop this model further if necessary. Version 1 is intended only for rough orientation in design. Version 2 is printable and tested (6mm steel ball on an good quality latex tape).
I highly recommend to print in PETG, 6-7 outlines an a minimal infill of 70%. Printable without any supports.
DE: Es handelt sich hier NICHT um ein Spielzeug im eigentlichen Sinne. Bei unsachgemäßer Benutzung können schwere Verletzungen die Folge sein. Beschleunigte Stahlkugeln durchschlagen leicht Fenster belieber Dicke, Flaschen, dünne Holztüren und leichte Bleche. Daher ist eine Nutzung durch Kinder nicht empfohlen.
Ich werde dieses Modell, sofern nötig, weiterentwickeln. Die Version 1 ist nur zur groben Orientierung im Design gedacht. Version 2 ist druckbar und getestet (6mm Stahlkugel auf hochqualtitativem Latexband).
Ich empfehle dringend, in PETG mit 6-7 Aussenlinien zu drucken. Als Infill haben sich 70% als äußert stabil herausgestellt. Es sind keine Supports notwendig.
