Prints in place with 10% infill and tree supports. Tested only with PLA but no reason why other filaments wouldn't work.
I added a drop of dielectric lubricant on each side of the roller and a strip of grip tape in the center to ensure better grip on the filament and smooth rolling. Without the grease you still get some squeaking from the roller, the grip tape is a little extra.
This version 2 is updated as of 5/15/2026 to widen the base and the roller circumference to mitigate the filament catching between the roller and post that I experienced printing with the first, smaller version.
