## Description
This is a modular, battle-ready ship build designed around interchangeable weapon systems and structural add-ons. The layout prioritizes flexibility—letting you swap between different gun variants, turret placements, and cannon types depending on how chaotic (or tactical) you’re feeling.
Make sure to check scaling and connection tolerances with your printer before committing to a full print, especially if you’re mixing materials or modifying parts.
The design uses slot-fit and pin-based connections for assembly. Most parts are designed to either snap into place or be reinforced using short lengths of filament as pins, keeping everything secure while still allowing easy disassembly and upgrades.
---
## Required Parts
- 3× Gun v1
- 2× Gun v2
- 2× Ladder
- 2× Turret
- 3× Cannon (One of each type)
- 1x Hull
---
## Printing Recommendations
- Base Material: PLA (easy prints) or ABS (higher durability)
- Detail Parts (Optional): PETG or TPU for slight flexibility and impact resistance
- Layer Height: 0.16–0.2 mm for clean detail without insane print times
- Infill: 20–30% (gyroid or cubic for strength across angles)
- Walls/Perimeters: 3–4 walls for structural parts like turrets and guns
- Supports: Minimal; only required for overhang-heavy parts (like certain cannon designs)
### Orientation
- Guns & Cannons: Print sideways for better barrel strength
- Ladders: Print flat
- Turrets: Base-down for stability
---
## Assembly
1. Start with the main ship body (hull).
2. Attach the turrets to their designated mounting points.
3. Slot in Gun v1 and Gun v2 units depending on your preferred layout.
4. Install the selected cannon(s) at the primary hardpoint(s).
5. Attach ladders to the top.
6. Use small pieces of filament (1.75 mm) as pins where needed for rotating or reinforced joints.
7. Trim excess filament and ensure all moving parts slide in smoothly.
---
## Notes
- Gun v1 is lighter and more compact—good for coverage. Gun v2 is bulkier and more heavy-duty.
- The cannon choice significantly changes the ship’s overall look and feel.
- If your printer runs tight, slight sanding or tolerance adjustments may be required.
- This build is designed for modular creativity rather than strict realism.

## Customization
Feel free to remix or modify this design however you like—add more hardpoints, redesign components, or experiment with different materials and finishes.
You can turn it into anything from a clean, tactical build to a heavily customized, battle-worn ship. If you improve or expand the design, share it back!
