I designed an emergency collet and modified a L00 nose protector to hold a 1.25" thin wall tube in my lathe.

I needed to hold a thin walled 1.25" tube in my old lathe with a L00 spindle nose and internal MT4.5 taper.
I designed an emergency collet that holds the tube and is compressed by the modified L00 nose protector.
I printed in PETG for some VERY LIGHT threading cuts. Do NOT use plastic parts to hold your parts on a lathe unless you take complete responsibility for the outcome.
