I've created this design for the HP Robots Otto competition, it's a functional R2D2 body kit.
The body and attachments are hold by 2.5 mm screws, the legs have two servos, and the original Otto wheels will work just fine, the front leg is incorporating the original 3rd "wheel".
The head needs one additional servo, in this way it can turn.
The body it's incorporating the ultrasonic sensors on the front.
First mount the front leg, followed by the battery and motherboard holder.
After fitting the head servo, you can fit the body to the base.
The left and right legs are hold in place by two 2.5mm screws accessible from the top.
the head should be fitted last, if it doesn't stay snug, drill a small hole to the top, to be able to screw in the servo arm.
