This model is a fully adjustable counter mount designed for payment terminals and similar devices. It features a 310° base rotation and uses a friction tilt hinge, allowing you to tilt your device at any angle - just tighten or loosen a single screw to your preferred resistance. It also includes cable management!
I designed this model to look visually similar to the SpacePole Stack, and it features a relatively similar size (105.5mm x 105.5mm x ~104.8mm). It's currently not "stackable" and features a shorter, fixed height, but I may consider adding extensions in the near future!

--- Requirements & Printing ---
Before printing all of the components (4 of them), you will need to download the Device Mount model and open it in 3D design software (e.g., Fusion 360) in order to create your own mounting points. The rest of the parts can be printed normally.
Print Settings (these have been tested to work in Prusa Slicer based on default settings!)
Mount Base | 0.20mm Speed, 100% infill, enable supports. |
|---|---|
Flange (Base Cover) | 0.10mm Fast Detail, enable supports. |
Mounting Pole | 0.20mm Speed, 40% infill, enable supports. |
Device Mount | 0.20mm Speed, 15% infill, enable supports. |
A larger infill was selected for added durability, but in most cases, it can likely be reduced for certain parts (such as the mount base).
Additionally, you will need the following components, which you can pickup at your local hardware store:
Product Name | Link to purchase |
|---|---|
(1x) #10-24 x 2-1/2 in. Machine Screw | Home Depot (3-pack) |
(1x) #10-24 Nylon Lock Nut | Home Depot (4-pack) |
(1x) #12-24 x 1/2 in. Machine Screw | Home Depot (5-pack, includes nuts) |
(1x) #12-24 Standard Nut | (already included above) |
If you're mounting the stand into a wooden structure (like a table), and would like to secure it with screws, you'll also need four M4 self-tapping screws.
--- Assembly Steps ---
Install your custom Device Mount piece on your terminal with the mounting points you created and the appropriate screws.
If you're installing this stand into a wooden structure as mentioned previously, using the four mounting holes on the Mount Base piece, insert your M4 self-tapping screws to secure it down.
Place your Flange (Base Cover) directly over the Mount Base to cover it. Yes, it may be a little loose, and that's okay!
On your Mounting Pole, insert the #12-24 Standard Nut in its appropriate slot on the bottom (it will require force). Then, screw the #12-24 x 1/2 in. Machine Screw into the nut (but not all the way; it should not be protruding into the interior of the piece). Similarly, insert the #10-24 Nylon Lock Nut in its appropriate slot on the top (again, it will require force).
Place the Mounting Pole over the Mount Base / Flange (Base Cover) assembly into the slot on the top. Make sure the machine screw is facing the arc slot on the Mount Base, then go ahead and screw it in all the way.
Take your terminal with the Device Mount installed, and insert the long end of the Device Mount in the slot on the top of the Mounting Pole (in between the two pillars). Then, insert the #10-24 x 2-1/2 in. Machine Screw from the left side (opposite end from the lock nut) all the way through to create a hinge.
Using a screwdriver (preferably electric, or else it will be difficult), tightly secure your terminal at the desired angle. You can tighten it loosely to allow tilting, or all the way to prevent movement (recommended).
That's it! I hope you enjoy this model as much as I enjoyed creating it.
