UPDATE 5-5-26 : Some links for the parts change quite fast, so for a better idea of what you should order, i attached some pictures with info. Hope this helps a bit. I will try to update the links if they change. You could order parts at different stores, but this Chinese site is by far the cheapest, just my 2 cents...
For the LM2596, you should choose a version that measures approx. 21.5mm by 43.5mm. As long as it looks like the attached picture, you will be fine. The screw-holes in the base are designed for this type. So no led display on the pcb.

For the Micro USB connector, use this type, which measures approx. 15x14mm :

For the push-button, use one that has a 16mm diameter. I used one with screw terminals, so it doesn't has to be soldered :

For the LED's, make sure u buy a 5v type, non RGB with 60LED's per meter. Otherwise it will be too bright (in my opinion at least). If you get one with an USB connector soldered to it, it makes life easier, because you won't have to solder those wires, just cut the USB connector :

For the JGY-370, i used a 12v version with 6rpm, but now there is a 3rpm version too. Just make sure you have a version that has a M3 thread in the spindle, and a flat part on that same spindle :

For the bolts, i only used hex of this type. Some holes are only designed for this type, so make sure to get the right ones :

UPDATE 12-4-26 : images now changed to English, so no Dutch confusing words anymore. Also added a better BOM.
I also added 2 mounts for making the litho rotate by hand, so no motor. There is 1 named "mount bottom for freespin with bearing" and 1 named "mount bottom for freespin without bearing". In both cases you need a M5x25 bolt and nut and the spacer. For the 1 with bearing you will also need a 625ZZ bearing (16x5x5mm), see last picture.
With the bearing type, the lamp will rotate better when turned by hand. With the non-bearing type, the lamp will rotate on top of the litho, but it will not be smooth.
If you want to skip the motor, you can also skip the LM2596, as it's only needed to regulate the motor-voltage.

Is this a challenge? Not really, as long as you take your time, for me it was a fun build. It could be that i forgot to mention something along the way, please let me know, first time posting such a build here.
The costs depends, this model is motor driven, but you could make it so it's only driven by hand. See explanation above.
I have seen a lot of litho lamps, most of them being with 4 or 5 litho's. I wanted to design a lamp that could display more litho's, so i came up with the idea for a pentagon style lamp. As for the most examples i could find, they are turnable, but mostly by hand.
I thought it would be great, to have the lamp rotate slowly to let it show all photo's in a slow pace. This lamp will show 10 photo's (the top litho is different because the fitting to the tube).
You will have to make your own litho's, solder some parts, glue the ledstrip, and have patience to assemble everything, but i personally think it's worth it!
Your printer has to be dialed in, as the litho top assembly has a lot of overhang. I printed this without support, this makes it looking better. If this is not possible, you can print with support, but it may affect the looks.
As for the litho's : go to https://itslitho.com/ and arrange your preferred photo's in this way :
photo style : pentagon
Max size : 112.5
Min thickness : 1.2
Max thickness : 2.8
Frame thickness : 2.8
Frame depth : 3
Frame angle : 0
Mm per pixel : 0.05
I printed the litho's with 4 walls, so there is no infill possible. Infill will affect the looks if the litho when the lamp is on.
For the parts you will need :
jgy370 12v (i used the 6rpm, but now there is a 3rpm!):
https://nl.aliexpress.com/i/32897617624.html
Micro usb board:
Latching 16mm push button:
led strip 5v 1m:
LM2596:
M3 assort:
You can see i used M3x5 screws for some parts, M3x6 will work too, but you will have to be carefull to not overtighten them ( for the clamp to the litho holder, screw gently!), or use a spacer to get only 5mm's of thread.
For assembly of the electrical parts, follow the (simple) picture. I had no other way of explaining the connections at this time.
Solder wires (approx 15cm each) at the micro usb, LM2596 (in and out), the led strip, the jgy370 and the push button. I used wire connectors, because if any of the components would fail, i can replace them without desoldering it.
Connect the live wire from the micro usb to the push button. Connect another live wire from the usb to the led strip. From the push button go to the "in" of the LM2596. On the "out" of the LM2596 go to the jgy370. Set the LM2596 at around 1.6V ( use a voltmeter) , so it will turn at approx. 1rpm (if you purchased a 6rpm motor). Connect all of the negative wires together, so from the usb to the jgy370, the "in" of the LM2596 and the led strip.
You can play around with the voltage of the regulator, i thought 1rpm was nice. If you want it to go faster, set the voltage higher (or don't even change it if you want).
For the led strip, i used 58cm as i was having this laying around. 50 cm should be enough. After soldering the wires, glue the strip to the led tube at the bottom and the top. I used led with adhesive strip, but still glued the bottom and end to the led tube.
I printed the base top and bottom in PETG black. The litho's have to be printed in PETG white, NO TRANPARENT or any other colour, it will not look good!! Also the clamps are printed in PETG white.
Assembly main parts:
Mount the motor to the base top with 4x m3x6.
Mount the micro usb to the base top with 2x m3x6.
Mount the LM2596 with 2x m3x5.
Mount the push button.
Mount the bearing for distance 3x.
Mount the litho holder bottom to the motor with 1x m3x10.
Look at the photo's on how i made it, i think it will help you.
Assembly litho's :
Mount the top litho (with the text "love is all around") first, but also the second litho that comes next to it. Srew 1 clamp to both of them with 1x m3x5. Get the next litho and put it in place, then screw the according clamp to hold them. Make your way so all of the litho's are mounted. At last, mount the litho holder bottom with 5x m3x10.
Mount the litho holder top in place, put the complete assembly over it and turn it on.
Congrats, you have a working litho-lamp!
Let me know if there is an issue, i will try to resolve it.
