MattHub Case Mount for BDMan Soft Strap Bigscreen Beyond Mod

This is a remix that combines my MattHub Case Mount (lid optional) with the BDMan soft strap mod's snapring, allowing the MattHub to be mounted on the snapring piece.

There are 3 versions of the BDMan files, so choose which one you want:

• V1: "old original very tight tolerances for no wiggle in pieces - FDM printing only"

• V2: "old original with looser tolerances - more wiggle in circle snap in piece"

• V3: "the latest version in the files and fixed a couple of QOL issues"

  • Longer by 8 mm to avoid ear contact of the back piece for some users.

  • Rear attachment to main strap is different to avoid catching long hair.

  • Snap ring is thinner to avoid issues with over the ear headphone cans.

  • Swing piece has more clearance above the ear to better avoid any contact with ear.

Materials

To use this mount, you will need:

• Printed from the BDMan v? folder of your choice:

  • 1x MH5xMount_BD (right side snapring, choose 5.1 or 5.2 - check the back of your hub)

  • 1x original snapring (left side snapring)

  • 2x main body

  • 2x top strap piece

  • M2 Screw Kit

• To use with the Hub Lid:

  • Print one of the lids in the MattHub v5.1 or v5.2 folder from https://www.printables.com/model/1503421-matthub-case-mount-with-lid-for-bigscreen-beyond-a

  • 4x M2x6 Minimum length, screw will be hidden, or

  • 4x M2x8 Maximum length, screw tip will be visible

• To use without Hub Lid:

  • 4x M2x4 Minimum length, screw will be hidden, or

  • 4x M2x6 Maximum length, end of screw will show, it may rub but it should be fine

Print Parameters

• Type: FDM recommended

• Material: PLA, PLA+, or PETG

• Nozzle: 0.4

• Layer Height: 0.2

• Walls: 2 or more

• Infill: 15-30%

• Supports: None
