Robomov RS622 Drive Wheel

This is a replacement drive wheel I designed for the RS622 robotic lawn mower.

The goal was to create a strong and functional wheel that can be printed at home and used as an alternative to the original part. The wheel consists of a rigid inner wheel and a TPU outer ring for added grip and improved traction on grass.

The design is intended for anyone who:

• needs a replacement wheel

• wants to repair instead of replace

• enjoys making functional spare parts with a 3D printer

The wheel shown in the photos is printed and mounted on the mower for real-world testing.

Design details:

• Rigid inner wheel for strength and stability

• Outer tread printed in TPU

• Improved grip on grass and uneven ground

• Made as a practical replacement solution for the original wheel

Material suggestion:

• Inner wheel: PETG, ASA, ABS or another durable material suitable for outdoor use

• Outer ring / tread: TPU

PLA may work for testing, but for long-term outdoor use I would recommend a more durable material for the main wheel.

Print suggestions:

• Print the inner wheel with enough walls/perimeters for strength

• Use a solid or high infill setup depending on your material and printer

• Print the outer part in TPU for flexibility and grip

• Check tolerances and fit before final assembly

Important:
This is a DIY replacement part and is used at your own risk. Fit, durability and wear will depend on printer calibration, material choice and mowing conditions. Always check dimensions and function before regular use.

Assembly:
The wheel is designed to replace the original part while keeping the same mounting position. Make sure the axle fit, locking system and wheel clearance work properly before running the mower.
