Model
They're modelled after a few plants from the game series PVZ (Plants Vs Zombies). These are meant to be used as chess pieces!
Print Instructions
The liberty of choosing which pieces you want to replace with the models is up to you! But all pieces except the king queen and pawn require you to print it twice for one side. The pawns are supposed to be printed times! Then all of it once more for the second side. Using two colours of filament is probably better since these are chess pieces.
Build Instructions
After printing all of it, you can either use glue or trust the clutch power of 3D prints. I'd rather you use glue for this purpose. The bases of each piece is right next to the printed model. Glue the two halves together first and then glue it to the base next. The prints can then be sanded down and painted if preferred.
Challenges
This project was my first time using Forms in Fusion so at first I had some trouble modelling with it. After a few plants I got the hang of it! Then I also learnt a bit of surface modelling because some models required me to have cylinders. But overall I learnt to use a lot of new tools in Fusion through this!
