Thicker swivel base with hinge for heavier load on the arm. My custom LED lamp would rip out the hinge connector on the original base.
StickAtSea was kind enough to do the reorientation job on the models, so you just need to turn on supports to print these. Thanks, StickAtSea!
To print this load it as one object, then manually rotate and move the hinge part so that it's perpendicular to the bed and as close as possible. Print with support with the teeth facing up. I tried to print it as one object with supports, but that caused the teeth on the hinge to get messed up and not align properly with the teeth on the arm, or something like that.
TLDR: printing it without moving the hinge part means problems.
Glue the parts together.
