Joinable Mini-Bin with Lid

Introduction

A small bin with a simple lid.
They are joinable in X and Y direction and (almost) endless extendable.
The lid might not be 100% water proof, but will at least protect against dust and rain.

My design intention was to have some containers for herbs while traveling, or camping. But I am pretty sure, you guys will find many further use cases. Let me know in the comments what your make will contain.

Instruction

• The bins have locking feature when they are on the same level.

• The Lid is a simple snap on part. No screwing, no tools needed.

• The bins can be released either to the top or bottom.

Print Instruction

Printer

The design of the joints is pretty precise, wherefore the following is important.

Make sure that your printer is well calibrated!
Take care of proper Filament settings.
Reduce print speed if you figure waves in the joins.
Reduce layer heights if the joints don't slight smoothly along each other.

Material

Use good and well dried Filament.

The bin should be made from PETG, as it has a smooth surface by default.
ABS/ASA will work too, but I recommend Acetone vapor treatment to make the surface smooth.
PLA is not recommended due to his rather rough surface.

The lid should be made from TPU or other flexible material to provide best performance.
PETG might work as well, but I didn't tried yet.
