(Tollereanz etwa 1mm)

This system allows you to mount as many spools as you like side-by-side on the underside of a shelf. The spool holders also act as buffers for the filament when using a Prusa MMU. The original buffer guide spools fit into them.To guide the Filament reliably to the Buffers a guide is provided for a better angle, which can be screwed to the shelf. A PTFE tube is inserted into this guide and gently secured against slipping out with an M3x4 screw.
I'm using a 300x800x18mm board, the kind you can get pre-cut in various wood types at a hardware store (I got mine from OBI).
The individual buffer modules can be printed upright with the mounting side facing up, in one piece and without supports. If you have the time and large spools of filament, you could print them all at once, but keep in mind that two modules, with two perimeters and 10% gyroid infill, require almost 700g of PETG.
For mounting them to the shelf, the top of each buffer has pre-drilled holes for M5 threaded inserts. A precise drawing showing where the holes need to be drilled on the board is included as a PDF. Since the spools sit on rollers in the rails, it's extremely important to work accurately, otherwise the rollers could jam or fall out. (Tolerance approximately 1mm)
There had been an older version for the guide to the buffers witch uses rollers. But that did't work properly, so I changed it to the version with the PTFE guides. Only if someone wonders what happend to the last version.
