Why This Design?
Hobbyist spot welders are often lightweight, leading them to slide around or get pulled off the desk by their own heavy-gauge cables. This dock provides a secure, weighted footprint that keeps your welder upright and your electrodes organized.
Secure Vertical Docking: The central cavity is precision-fit to hold the main welder unit securely, saving desk space and improving visibility of the status LED.
Integrated Electrode Port: Features a dedicated front-facing holster for the welding pen connector, keeping the high-current tips safely away from your battery cells when not in use.
Strain Relief for Cables: By holding the unit vertically, the stand naturally manages the $10$AWG cables, reducing strain on the internal solder joints of the welder.
Rapid-Access Design: Allows for one-handed operation—simply pull the welding pens from the dock and begin your work without adjusting the base.

Print Settings:
Layer Height: 0.2mm for a balance of speed and surface finish.
Infill: 20% (Gyroid) – a higher infill helps provide the "weight" needed to keep the stand from moving.
Walls: 2-3 loops to ensure the pen holster is rigid enough for repeated use.
Material: PLA or PETG.
Supports: No supports required.
