Print Settings
To capture the expressive eyes and the flow of the fur, use these settings:
Layer Height: 0.2 mm
Infill Density: 10%
Infill Pattern: Gyroid (Ideal for supporting the varied internal curves of the head)
Perimeters: 2 or 3
Supports: Yes (Use Tree/Organic supports. Focus them under the chin, the back of the "mane," and the ears for a clean finish)
Material: PLA/PETG. Looks stunning in Antique Gold, Copper, or a Matte Terracotta.
Tips for a Perfect Result
Cooling: Ensure good part cooling to handle the detailed "waves" of the fur without sagging.
Scale: This model retains its detail even when scaled up. If you want a real gallery piece, try printing it at 150% or larger!
Cleaning: A heat gun can quickly clear up any tiny stringing between the fur peaks if you are using PETG.
