To practice lockpicking with a Small Format Interchangeable Core (SFIC) lock cylinder, it's helpful to have a vise-mountable SFIC lock-cylinder housing. Christopher Tyler designed a housing and Eric Schlenz adapted it for vise-mounting. These are cool, but neither is quite what I wanted. Both are much longer than necessary, oddly open in the back, and tattooed with markings that I'd rather do without. So here's a cleaner, simpler version. Like its predecessors, it supports 5- to 7-pin SFIC lock cylinders and can be used in the standard lug-locked mode or, if you don't have the control key to retract the lug, in friction-fit mode.
