This is a simple, modern napkin holder. A captive weighted ball holds the napkins on the plate.

Directions:
Print the base and the ball.
I suggest cutting the ball in two halves so that it prints without support.
I used 80% infill for the ball to give it nice weight.
Then cut a length of filament to use as a wire to connect the pieces. Put some super glue on the ends of the filament and place it in the hole on each piece.
Prefer PETG over PLA for the connecting wire. In my experience, PLA becomes brittle after a year in open air. PETG will stay springy longer.
