This is a Ratrig Hybrid 6WD front gantry designed for the INDX XY motion system.
To reduce Y-axis losses that were present in the previous 6WD design, the installation direction of the Y tensioner has been reversed.
The front motor mount from the BRS 4WD setup has been slightly modified to be compatible with INDX installation.
A new mount specifically for INDX has been designed.
I personally use a 4-point Z-axis support, but the X and Y motion system remains identical to the original design.
To accommodate the front gantry, the X-axis joints and the INDX MGN12 mounts have been redesigned.
To minimize thermal expansion at high temperatures and reduce ringing at high speeds, carbon plates have been added to reinforce the dual rails.
There is a bit of over-engineering involved, but I believe it is a worthwhile upgrade for a 3D printing hobby.
