This is a detailed model I have created to illustrate the DNA and RNA replication process and their structures for a biology class project. The model is designed to fit together like LEGO pieces, making it both visually appealing and interactive for students. It features the double helix structure of DNA, highlighting the base pairs that connect the strands, as well as the process of transcription, where RNA is synthesized. Additionally, the model includes ribosomes and various enzymes that play crucial roles in replicating the DNA strands, along with tRNA and amino acids to form protein chains, showcasing how these components work in harmony. This hands-on approach aims to enhance understanding of molecular biology concepts by allowing students to visualize and manipulate the components involved in replication. I currently do not have the model, but every part has been printed, and everything fits perfectly!
