The Last Shopping Cart Token You'll Ever Need

Most 3D-printed trolley tokens suffer from two problems: they snap at the thinnest point, or they are too hard to pull out of the cart slot.

This "Tactical Hex" design solves both issues. It features a solid, reinforced hexagonal handle that distributes pressure evenly, preventing it from breaking. The 45-degree chamfered edges provide a premium, tactical look while ensuring incredibly smooth insertion and removal from the cart mechanism.

Size & Easy Scaling: The default diameter of the coin part is 27.5 mm (Thickness: 2.55 mm). However, you can easily scale this in your slicer to match your local currency! Simply measure the coin you normally use, and scale the X and Y axes accordingly.

Quick Scaling Guide (Approximate):

• 2 EUR (25.75 mm): Scale to 93.6%

• US Quarter (24.26 mm): Scale to 88.2%

• UK £1 (23.43 mm): Scale to 85.2%

• 1 EUR (23.25 mm): Scale to 84.5%

(Note: Unlink the Z-axis if you want to keep the exact 2.55mm thickness, though uniform scaling usually works perfectly fine for most shopping carts).

Print Instructions / Settings

For the best results and a truly indestructible token, please follow these settings:

• Material: PETG, ASA, or Carbon Fiber blends (PETG-CF/PLA-CF) are highly recommended. Please avoid standard PLA if you plan to keep this token on your car keys during hot summer days, as it will warp.

• Perimeters / Walls: 4 to 5. (This makes the token essentially solid plastic around the handle).

• Infill: 100%.

• Layer Height: 0.15 mm or 0.20 mm (To ensure the chamfers print smoothly).

• Supports: None required. Print flat on the build plate.

• Build Plate: A textured PEI sheet gives the bottom of the token a fantastic premium finish.
