The release knob that allows you to detach the basket from the tray of our airfryer broke. I designed and printed a new one in ABS; 4 walls, 4 top and bottom layers, 40% infill.
This is specifically for the Philips HD9252 airfryer, but I am sure this knob is used on many other models. I included the .step file in case yours is slightly different, or needs some tweaking.
The fragile stud that broke of is replaced by sturdy 4x5mm heat-insert/M3x8mm socket screw combo. I included the .stl and .step of the knob that allows you to screw the M3x8mm socket screw without the need of an insert. The latter I did not test.
Replacement is a little tricky. You need to remove the cover of the handle and insert the knob, and then the conical spring (large diameter upward). The latter will require some pliers to compress the spring while inserting into place.
The spring easily ejects itself from the pliers before inserting it successful. I did in my case. So watch where it is flying, so you find it again!
