Spinning top

Inspired by designs of other makers, i created my own spinning top design, with an easy to print spinning body and handle, where the handle assembles simple (based on the settings below).

The body has a spirol on its face, that can be visualized using a diferent color, or not.

I provided two bodies wrt to the spinning top:

  • d=62mm

  • d=41mm

The handles are available in a short (18mm) and a larger version (33mm)

Handles can be mounted on both bodies incase you would have a personal preference.

Printing

I used the following setting:

  • Layer height: 0.15

  • Infill: Gyroid, 25%

  • Top/Bottom fill pattern: concentric

Material:

  • PLA, but others would probably do fine too.

Orientation:

  • Main body: up side down

  • Handle: right up

Coloring:

  • In case you want to visualize the spirol, make sure to split the main body in parts.
