I buy eggs by a huge pack, so when I want to carry only a few to the stove, I needed something to hold them in. Since I think of it as “Shuttling” a few from the main area to the work site, I thought it needed to be a Shuttlecraft. I took the shape, enlarged it, and made it hold eggs.
(Also, since I am a big nerd, when I think ‘Eggs’ I think Xenomorph, so there is a Xenomorph trying to break out of the front.)
