Arrma Mini Kraton Lower Control Arm – TEMPORARY / STUNT USE (V5)

This is a temporary replacement lower control arm for the Arrma Mini Kraton. Bolts up using all original hardware and maintains correct suspension geometry.

This is NOT an upgrade and NOT a long-term replacement. These are meant to keep your car running while waiting on stock parts, or for short-term use like sending a few huge jumps for a video.

Intended use: backup parts, short-term driving, testing limits, or big jump sessions. If you want durability, buy OEM.

Print requirements: 100% infill is required. Good layer adhesion is critical. Weak prints will fail.

Material results:
PLA+ works well for light bashing and maintains geometry, but failed on jumps over about 3 feet.
TPU is extremely impact-resistant and survived 20+ ft drops onto concrete, but will flex and sag under the car’s weight.
Best setup (still not permanent): top 5 layers nylon, bottom 5 layers nylon, middle TPU, 100% infill. This reduces sag while keeping impact resistance.

Print settings: print in the file’s orientation with supports on build plate only.

Version 5: refined design with improved strength in common failure areas.

These will get you by and can take serious abuse for short bursts, but they are not a substitute for stock parts. Use them, send it, break them, reprint.
