This is a replacement part for the connecting link (hinge) of an Einhell drill case latch. These plastic parts often snap or get lost, making the case impossible to close securely.
After searching for a replacement model and not finding one, I designed this specifically to fit the standard Einhell red tool cases. It is designed to work with the original handle or a 3D-printed replacement.
Print Settings
Material: PETG is highly recommended for its flexibility and durability. ABS/ASA are also great. (Avoid PLA as it is too brittle for this mechanical stress).
Orientation: For maximum strength, print the part on its side. This ensures the layer lines run along the length of the part, preventing the pins from snapping off under tension.
Infill: 100% (It's a small part, so use full density for strength).
Walls: 3-4 perimeters.
