My CoreOne adjustment screw seized and I didn't have proper inserts to do upgraded pulley. I was not going to upload, but I felt someone might need this.

Here's hex nut version. Handy in a pinch when you don't have time to order and wait to get specialized nuts & bolts.

Print settings:

  • CoreOne preset: Structural

  • nozzle: 0.4mm

  • layer height: 0.2mm

  • material: PETG (any equivalent will do. No heat exposure)

  • perimeters: 5

  • infil: 30%

  • print speed: 85% (printer belt was lose)

Cad file can be opened in FreeCAD. If you need to adjust nut cavity, there is spreadsheet [Cfg] where there are 2 values. B1 is width of the nuts flat sides and E1 is additional space needed around cavity to fit hex nut as edges overflows a little bit.  Once you have adjusted parameters, you can export by highlighting PulleyHexNut object on tree view and clicking top menu File > Export. I recommend using .STEP file format as there might be some problems with .STL mesh generation.

Nut must not have any slack when in cavity. If there is any play, nut will carve walls into a circle and (effectively) will seize.

REMEMBER TO ADD GREASE ON ADJUSTMENT SCREW ;)

PS: I went and used "nylon-lock" nuts. Not really needed, but I have been having problems with core xy gantry losing belt tension over print or two.
