Freehand Edge Router Tool

Do you need a perfect 90° edge but you cant use your plunge router tool because it is to big or because it doesn't have enough surface area and wobbles around? This freehand edge router tool has you covered! Just screw your Dremel or another multifunctional tool with a M19x2 thread onto the freehand tool, and you're ready to go. 

The shape was chosen to ensure a secure and stable grip while still allowing a clear view of the work surface from all angles. At the same time, you can connect a vacuum cleaner without compromising maneuverability or visibility. This tool may be ugly, but it works, and that's what matters most in a tool.

But how do I choose the right model? Do I need the 35 mm or the 45 mm version? Simply screw your milling flute, router bit, sanding bit or grinding bit into your multifunctional tool and use a ruler to measure the distance as shown in the picture. The height specification in the tool, as shown in the drawing, indicates how high the Dremel or your multifunctional tool sits above the workpiece surface. You can also simply use the variable version and change the height with the help of the extra plates. The variable version is the only version that allows you to adjust the height using extra plates and is based on the 35mm version. For assembly you will need 4xM3 threaded inserts (holes designed for RX-M3x5.7) and 4xM3 countersunk screws.

Unfortunately, I can't provide the right adapter for every vacuum cleaner hose, but you can easily make one yourself. You will find the most important measurements for this in this image. I used a 19mm / 3/4" spiral hose.
