I designed this connector to fix together two male jumper wires similar to this:
It is very helpful for small circuitry. Usually when you don't want to soldier a pair of wires to a micro controller, you can connect a female jumper wire to a male pin on the micro controller.
You can plug in two male jumper wires to complete a circuit and have a stable power flow in circuitry on breadboards. It is helpful when trying to fiddle with circuits.
