An LED growlight I quickly modeled that uses an old 8mm linear rail rod, a 5V LED strip soldered to a 4mm diameter usb cable.
The 8mm linear guide rod was salvaged from my old Anet A8 clone.
To put it together, cut and place the LED strips within the top rail. Then, cut your usb cable to length, strip and tin the 5V connections and feed the cable through the base and rail. Solder the connections to the LED strip and loosely slide everything into place. If you are satisfied with the placement, feel free to super glue everything in place.
