Named Endeavor by her crew, Demo-2 was the first manned flight of the new SpaceX Crew Dragon spacecraft. On 30 May 2020, a Falcon 9 booster sent Endeavour hurtling towards the International Space Station. Aboard was NASA astronauts Douglas Hurley and Robert Behnken. It was the first crewed orbital spaceflight launched from the United States since the final Space Shuttle mission STS-135 in 2011, and the first ever operated by a commercial provider.
