This tool is for resetting the chain brake on a Husqvarna chainsaw in the event that the clutch cover was removed with the chain brake engaged. In this situation the cover cannot practically be put back on the saw to reset the brake with the kickback guard. Attempting to reset the brake using wrenches or other improvised tools is a nightmare and will likely damage the casting of the clutch cover. Husqvarna sells a dedicated tool for this, which is a modification of a standard chainsaw wrench. My version tool copies the three lugs on the kickback guard on a 1/2" socket instead, which can provide much better leverage than the Husqvarna version. My version also doesn't cost $20.
This tool is used in the same manner as the tool in the linked video, by rotating the chain brake clockwise until the brake snaps into place in the bottom position.
Safety warning: Do not remove the spring cover on the clutch cover when resetting the chain brake. The spring inside is powerful and it will release a dangerous amount of energy if it flies out of its housing.
I printed this tool in ABS with 8 perimeters at 100% infill. Print it as strong as you can get it, because it's under a fair bit of force. For reference, I tried the same concept with a 3/8" drive socket with the same settings. The wrench destroyed the flats on the socket without even budging the chain brake. The 1/2" version did the job unharmed.
