This is a custom-designed enclosure for the affordable ultrasonic piezoelectric mist maker modules commonly found on Amazon and AliExpress. It’s a functional and stylish piece designed to turn a simple DIY electronics kit into a finished household product.
Design Versions
I have included two versions for the top cover:
Smooth Version: For a clean, minimalist look.
Wood Texture Version: A more organic, decorative aesthetic. I used the free tool Bumpmesh.com to apply this high-detail texture to the mesh.
Printing & Support Settings
Top Part: Please note that the top section requires supports to print correctly.
Other Parts: All other components are designed to be printed without any supports.
Waterproofing Tips: To ensure the bottom part is completely watertight and leak-proof:
Print at a higher temperature than your usual settings to improve layer bonding.
Increase the Wall Count (Perimeters) to at least 3 or 4 layers.
Assembly
The assembly process is straightforward. Please follow the layout exactly as shown in the provided cross-section image to ensure the module and all components are correctly seated.
