This is a custom remix of the classic 3D Benchy, inspired by the legendary Great Lakes freighter SS Edmund Fitzgerald. I combined the iconic Benchy hull with design elements that resemble the Fitzgerald’s long, low-profile cargo ship shape to create a unique tribute piece.
The Edmund Fitzgerald is one of the most famous ships in Great Lakes history, and this model is meant as a fun, printable homage—not a perfect scale replica. It keeps the recognizable Benchy features while adding a stretched, freighter-style silhouette.
