If you remove your doors and hinges to paint your door and frame (you should...), you can use these to keep the paint out of the mortise area. These are dimensioned exactly to standard mortises so they might be a tight fit. I have one side slightly radiused to take out any elephants foot from your first layer. Put that side down when printing. (It should be the down side by default.) Fusion file included if you need to tweak it.
