This remix modifies the original design/code with:

- Three-layer filament-swap structure

- Recessed two-sided text

- Optional third text line

- Auto-fit label width

- Independent tapered stake width

- Internal recessed border

- Tangent shoulder fillets to reduce stress concentration

- Refactored Customizer parameters

Notes: For text, I think recessed text looks cool. This design allows text on both sides. Bottom text is typically implemented as a bridge on the first middle layer, and, at least on my Prusa, seems to work quite well. You do have to implement a couple of pauses for in the Prusa (or your preferred) slicer to implement a color change. I have included a *.3mf Prusa Slicer file as an example (0.3mm layers, PETG) It issues a warning, but I think the bridging is ok. Its a garden label, not a precision instrument.

The auto-width calculation is a bit janky. You can adjust "LABEL_PADDING_X" to compensate.

The stake geometry is merely my personal preference.

23 July 2026 revision notes:
 - I wanted to make labels that I could hang from my trees with garden velcro
 - I added "ATTACHMENT_STYLE = "Stake"; // ["Stake" for in-ground; "Tab" for hanging]"
 - I created a python file to iterate over the rows of a csv file to auto-generate a bunch of different stl files with different label text.
 - I created a shell script to run the python batch script with this .scad file and a specific .csv file
 - I am not uploading any python or batch files, but I am uploading instructions and prompts to allow a person to make their own python and batch files using AI.

AI was used as a coding agent.  Mostly to see how well it did with 3D concepts.  Don't worry about AI generating designs for 3D robot soldiers just yet.  Definitely getting better though.
