This is a stick handling training puck that uses 12mm bearing balls as glide pegs.   Uses 12 bearing balls in total.  The goal was to produce a stick handling puck that was low maintenance, similar weight to ice hockey pucks, and could be used on a number of common household floor surfaces. Slides surprisingly well on vinyl floors and polished concrete.  Is about equal on sport court, and other athletic surfaces.

These are designed with .3mm clearance sot eh bearing balls spin freely.

Depending on what filament you use will dictate its durability.  I prefer nylon, however I've have almost equal results from high impact formula PLAs.   PETGs seem to always crack for me.  With these filaments I have gotten fairly rough with the pucks.  Short of a slapshot contact with on an Iron bar, they have held together for me.

Other recommendations include a 50% or more infill, with a honeycomb pattern.  This recommendation is not tested extensively, so feel free to experiment, but it has worked for me.

Construction is simple, and uses plastic superglue.  If you prefer to bearings to spin, just keep the glue away from the bearings.

I'm not linking any specific 12mm bearing balls, however a simple internet search will easily produce many economically friendly options.

These puck can be made for as little as $4.
