A compact foot massage roller designed to help relax tired feet, stimulate blood circulation, and relieve tension after long periods of standing or walking.

The textured surface with pyramid-shaped spikes provides a deep massage effect while rolling the foot over the roller on the floor. Great for everyday relaxation, warm-up exercises, or reflexology-inspired foot massage.

This project includes multiple versions of the roller surface, allowing you to choose the massage intensity:

  • Level 1 – Soft Spikes

The most gentle version, suitable for sensitive feet, beginners, or daily light massage.

  • Level 2 – Medium Spikes

Balanced intensity for regular use and general foot relaxation.

  • Level 3 – Hard Spikes

Stronger and deeper massage effect for users who prefer higher pressure and more intense stimulation.

Features

  • Comfortable ergonomic roller shape

  • No supports required

  • Easy and fast to print

  • Great for home, office, or recovery use

Recommended Print Settings

Most settings are fairly standard, but here are a few recommendations:

  • The side caps / wheels should be printed in TPU. The softer the material, the better. TPU 95A works well.

  • I recommend printing the roller in PETG, since in my experience it handles higher loads better than PLA. However, PLA and ABS should also work fine.

  • For better strength, increase the number of perimeters/walls. I used 3 walls, and the part feels very solid.

  • I have not performed destructive testing, but it should easily support my weight (~80 kg).

  • Prints without supports.

Print Time

Tested on a Creality K1C:

  • Roller: ~3 hours

  • Two side caps: ~2.5 hours

Assembly

After printing the roller and both side caps, simply press the caps onto the sides of the roller.

Thanks to the flexibility of TPU, they slide on easily and hold firmly in place.
