Prusa ColorMix is a color model and slicing tool implemented in EasyPrint and Prusa Slicer. It allows you to create colors that you don't have physically loaded on your printer. Read more in our release article.
There are three calibration models:
3T, for combinations of 3 filaments (12 two-color combinations and 1 three-color combination)
4T, for combinations of 4 filaments (22 two-color combinations and 4 three-color combinations)
5T, for combinations of 5 filaments (35 two-color combinations and 10 three-color combinations)
coming soon: 8T, for combinations of 8 filaments (covers the 92 two-color combinations, 56 more could be added when combining three colors)
These models help you visualize how the color combinations look when printed. We demonstrate it on the Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, blacK and White basic colors, but you can simply load any filaments you have at hand and see how they combine and what new colors they can create.
If you want to measure the printed colors using a colorimeter, you can use the Filament Swatch model.
The 3T, 4T, and 5T models are sliced for the Prusa XL, with a 0.15mm layer height.
When working with the 3MF files
You need a version 2.9.6 of Prusa Slicer (or newer).
When using the prepared G-codes
The 3T matrix looks like this:

And these are the assigned combinations for CMY filaments:
100% Yellow | 75% Yellow, 25% Magenta | 50% Yellow, 50% Magenta | 25% Yellow, 75% Magenta | 100% Magenta |
33% Cyan, 33% Magenta, 33% Yellow | 75% Cyan, 25% Magenta | 50% Cyan, 50% Magenta | 25% Cyan, 75% Magenta | 33% Cyan, 33% Magenta, 33% Yellow |
100% Cyan | 75% Cyan, 25% Yellow | 50% Cyan, 50% Yellow | 25% Cyan, 75% Yellow | 100% Yellow |
This is the color matrix for the 4T combinations:

The combinations of two colors are placed in one line between the filament colors (CMYW in the corners), the three-color combinations are in the spaces between:
100% Cyan | 75% Cyan, 25% White | 50% Cyan, 50% White | 25% Cyan, 75% White | 100% White
75% Cyan, 25% Magenta | 75% Cyan, 25% Yellow | 33% Cyan, 33% White, 33% Yellow | 25% Magenta, 75% White | 25% Yellow, 75% White
50% Cyan, 50% Magenta | 33% Cyan, 33% Magenta, 33% White | 50% Cyan, 50% Yellow | 50% Magenta, 50% White | 33% White, 33% Magenta, 33% Yellow | 50% Yellow, 50% White |
25% Cyan, 75% Magenta | 75% Magenta, 25% White | 33% Cyan, 33% Magenta, 33% Yellow | 25% Cyan, 75% Yellow | 75% Yellow, 25% White
100% Magenta | 25% Yellow, 75% Magenta | 50% Yellow, 50% Magenta | 75% Yellow, 25% Magenta | 100% Yellow
In a similar way we have the 5T matrix. Each vertex is a basic (CMYKW filament) color and on the imaginary lines that connect them we have the 25:75, 50:50, and 75:25 combinations. The 3-color combinations are in the iner circle and close to the vertices.

The same logic is applied to the 8T matrix (CMYWKRGB in the G-code):
