long story short, my original led light was getting blocked by the tank and chute so there was a dark spot in-front.
solved this issue with this little bracket i made.
now it lights up the front nicely.
bracket was made to fit Biltema ST 7178
however, this blower is generic so it will probably fit others like Stiga too (have not tested this)
- Printed mine in PETG
- all holes are 8mm in diameter (made to fit m8 bolts)
- the two holes are exactly 98.5mm apart (center to center) (inner edges are 91 apart and outer edges is 106mm apart)
- i used M8 carriage bolt to fit the plastic bracket to the blower (square part on carriage bolt measured 7.5mm)
- used four 13x37x2,7mm between blower and holder and two regular M8 washers on the outside.
(used the big washers as spacers between the bracket and blower so that the square on the carriage bolt head doesn't get pressed into the plastic bracket) (feel free to fix this and re-upload, i could not be bothered, hence the washers)
- the led light used is 12/24vdc 24watt ( biltema 38-853 )
- model fits on Prusa MK3S build plate (MK3S has a print volume of 250x200x200mm)
