I made this Memory Book to hold a pile of old RAM a co-worker left on my desk. It turned out to be a great going-away gift when my boss retired.

It's designed to hold five sticks of DIMM RAM per page with space for 5 SODIMM RAM on the back cover.

When printed, my printer can only print one color at a time, so the cover is designed for a single color-swap. The letters are only a single layer (0.2mm) thick, so the print should be configured to print the letters first, then a color change and it will print the rest of the cover. I did add a generic 3mf file that should have the letters as separate parts of the same object to you can define a different color for them, but I also have the stl file with a single object if you don't want the letters, or if you want to split it to parts to define different filaments.

The cover, since it's face down, will need supports for the dovetails, and the hinges will need also need support for the sections between the dovetails. I used snug supports.

You will need to print a minimum of six clips, that'll be enough to connect three hinge pieces, one each for the back cover, one page, and the front cover. Add three clips per additional page. Another way to consider it is to multiply the number of hinge pieces by three, and subtract three from that result.

Assembly:

The dovetails that join the hinges to the pages/covers are not very tight, I used a drop of super glue on each dovetail.

Once the glue is dry place a clip in every-other  round section of the hinge and simply push them onto the next hinge (to be honest, the clips could be a little stronger), they go together easily, and alternate the clip position per page.

To insert the RAM, you may need to flex the page a little for the RAM to be secured.

These are mostly large flat part, please allow them to cool sufficiently before removing them from your print bed.

This was printed out of generic PLA with a 0.2mm layer height.
