This is a preview of a new very strong (relative to the original) spool clamp for V-Spooler. It supports a wider range of spool types than all the official variants. Note the spindle has been updated since the picture.
This model may or may not make it to V-Spooler. It works really well as a strong more universal clamp, however ideally needs a mechanism added to lock the spindle in place while it is bring tightened or it can be hard to tighten - this is the remaining consideration where the design will work or fail.
This model requires the following hardware currently, subject to change:
6x M3 inserts
2x M6 inserts
1x square neck bolt M6x60mm (DIN 603)
6x M3x20 screws
