Replacement drive coupler for an electric meat grinder.
This is a replacement auger drive coupler designed to connect the electric drive unit of a meat grinder with the metal auger/screw. It is intended as a repair part for a broken or worn original plastic coupling.
The part fits into the drive socket of the grinder and transfers torque to the metal auger. It can be useful when the original coupler cracks, wears out, or breaks and the rest of the grinder is still in good working condition.
Features
Replacement coupling for an electric meat grinder
Connects the motor drive to the metal auger/screw
Designed as a repair part for a broken original plastic coupler
Helps extend the life of the appliance instead of replacing the whole grinder
Compact part, quick to print
Useful for appliance repair and spare-part replacement
Important note about photos
The current photos show the meat grinder, the auger connection area, and the damaged/original part reference. I currently do not have a photo of the printed replacement installed, but I plan to add it later when available.
The model file itself contains the printable replacement coupler.
Compatibility note
This part was designed for the meat grinder shown in the photos. Other electric meat grinders may use different drive socket dimensions, spline profiles, or coupling geometry.
Before printing, compare the STL with your original part and check the key dimensions carefully.
Material recommendation
This is a torque-transmitting part, so material choice matters.
Recommended materials:
PETG for basic use
ABS / ASA for better toughness and heat resistance
Nylon / PA for stronger functional use
PLA is not recommended for long-term use because it may crack more easily under torque, impact, or repeated load.
Printing notes
Suggested settings:
Walls: 4 or more
Infill: high, around 60–100%
Layer height: 0.16–0.2 mm
Print slowly enough to keep the internal drive features accurate
Use enough top/bottom layers for strength
Check fit carefully before full use
For best durability, print orientation should be chosen to maximize strength in the torque-transmitting section.
Use and safety note
After printing, test the coupler carefully without load first. Make sure it seats correctly in the drive socket and engages properly with the metal auger.
This is a functional repair part used in a rotating drive mechanism. Stop using it if you notice cracking, slipping, excessive wear, or unusual noise.
