Purple Iris

This is a ONE PIECE, full color stained-glass styled Purple Iris. Unlike my other stained-glass styled models that are in two parts, this model is printed as a single part, while maintaining the full color results of the earlier models. This is possible using features of the Color Drop plugin of HueForge.  The original model required two AMS units on a Bambu P1S using seven colors.  The version supplied here works with six colors.  If a single MMU supporting five colors is used, it requires swapping the sixth color in for the first one (transparent) after the base is complete and sometime before the third color (blue) is finished printing.  No post-print assembly is required.

Raw files can be used for other printers using the additional information provided below.

Print at 100% infill with a layer height of 0.08mm with a base layer of 0.16mm

The Model is 150x158.26mm in size

You may print at higher layer heights below the Base Thickness of 0.64mmThe Max allowed Thickness is 3.76mm and the Actual Thickness is 3.68mm

This Color Dropped version reduces the actual height to just 1.36mm

Swap Instructions:

You do not set Layer Swaps in the slicer.  Instead, each color is a separate STL file.
The file is named with the piece (Base or Nest) and filament color.
Load all STLs for one piece at once — your slicer will ask if it is a Multi-part model. Select yes.
Assign filaments by color name in the slicer's Object view.
The slicer sets it to print each piece separately, nesting them together.

If substituting filaments, pick ones with the closest TD values. Use a transparent white, if possible. Otherwise, pick the one with a TD > 15 to minimize the color change it will cause.
