Bring a touch of classic aviation to your garden or rooftop with this dynamic biplane weather vane. Fully 3D printed, as shown in the image sequence, this model is designed to rotate smoothly to indicate the direction of the wind.
The strategic integration of two standard ball bearings (one in the nose for the 5-11mm diameter propeller and two in the center of the fuselage for horizontal rotation, 3-13/15mm diameter and 5-11mm diameter bearing) ensures exceptional sensitivity even in the lightest breezes. The six-blade propeller and large rear wing surface area ensure the biplane aligns perfectly and the propeller spins smoothly.
Design: Detailed classic biplane.
Mechanics: Double ball bearings for horizontal rotation (wind exhaust) and propeller.
Printing: Multi-piece kit easy to assemble with two-part glue; UV-resistant materials (PETG, ASA, ABS) are recommended for outdoor use.
