This is the Freeze Ray from Despicable Me! I've been working on this project for a while, and I'm excited to finally share it.
A few things before anyone asks:
No, I won't be making any more ray guns after this one.
Some of the photos use AI. I did this because I didn't want to have to blur my face or be recognizable in the pictures.
The monocle is part of my username and is inspired by a character from a book who wears one.
If you notice any issues with the model or instructions, please let me know and I'll fix them.
Important: This is a non-functional prop and does not shoot or launch anything.
Print Recommendations
Walls/Perimeters: At least 4
Infill: 30–40% Gyroid
Use plenty of glue and make sure every part is securely attached.
One warning: this model uses quite a bit of glue during assembly. I'm thinking of working on a Version 2 that should be easier to build.
